Greets and Huggers. Took out my wallet and looked at the VERY few bills contained therein. ACK!!!! They all had on them ... printed on the back .... "In God We Trust". Made me wonder ... does that phrase violate one of the fundamental premises of our Constitution? The "separation of church and state?": of religion and state? Don't know.
We all have the "natural right" to believe ... or not .... in a "Supreme Being" ... I choose to believe in one. I very much respect the right of folks not to believe. Does that mean we need to remove any reference to
"God" from anything our Gov puts out? Why? Are folks who choose not to believe that insecure in their choice? Are folks who choose to believe .. so lacking in faith ... they need to have the verbiage? Could it be ... this is really a non issue? How about ... "I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United Sates of
America and to the Republic for which it stands ...one Nation, under God or Not .. with Liberty and Justice for All".
How about we deal with issues like the establishment of a separate judicial system in the Executive Branch ... commonly knows as "Administrative Law"? How about we deal with DCSE Clerks having the power to snatch your property .. without a Court Order ... based solely on THEIR belief you are behind in child support. How about we deal with the issue of a DCSE tech ... snatching your Social Security benefits? How about we deal with REAL injustice?
